Who Kitchen Dave Is

Kitchen Dave descended on Dignity Village's third site by the Morrison Street Bridge like a ball of fire. He looked at our primitive kitchen there, saw what needed to be done, and proceeded to do it often for twelve hours a day. Kitchen Dave arranged and sorted our food stocks, cooked meals, washed dishes and then did water runs. He is largely responsible for the 20 by 20 by 14 foot kitchen and meeting tent we purchased at our fifth site under the flyover of the Freemont Bridge. His hard work has earned him a tremendous amount of respect.

Kitchen Dave is the king of our kitchen. He is reluctant, however, to seek any higher office, sensing the risk our leaders are often exposed to. If elected King of Dignity Village, he jokes, "I promise not only a chicken in every pot, I'll even cook your goose for you."
