Who Jack Tafari is
Jack Tafari is a street roots writer, poet, vendor and
former submissions editor. He is also the cleaner at
Community Radio KBOO FM 90.7. In season on the
weekends he sets up and takes down tents at the
Saturday Market. Currently he is a full-time Out of
the Doorways organizer and Dignity soldier. He is in
charge of trash removal and sanitation at Dignity
Village. He often speaks for the village and says,
"Bird 'ave a nest inna tree. Why is man an' man an'
woman too not to mention child sleepin' inna damn
doorway?"
